Bowling, vintage games, and a full menu all in one place
A Creative Take on Fun
Decades is one of those places that’s hard to put in a box. It’s part arcade, part bowling alley, and part restaurant, and it all works together. The space sits inside the old Stahr Armory building, just a short walk from downtown Lancaster’s main strip. Exposed brick, soft lighting, and the hum of vintage games give the whole place a relaxed but energetic feel.
It’s great for small groups, casual dates, or just stopping in for a bite and a beer. There’s room to hang out without feeling rushed, and the staff keeps things moving without being overbearing.
Local Roots, Familiar Faces
Decades was opened by Lancaster locals Chris Trendler, Adam Ozimek, and Jonathan Yeager. All three have been involved in the community through other ventures including the Lancaster Craft Beerfest. Their goal was simple: create a space that felt fun, welcoming, and a little different from the usual nightlife options. The result is a spot that draws a steady mix of families, college students, and long-time residents.
Good Food, Cold Drinks, and Games That Still Work
The arcade lineup includes games like Frogger, Galaga, and NBA Jam. The bowling lanes are compact but full-service, and the food holds its own. The menu includes things like Nashville hot chicken, vegan burgers, and shareable plates that actually make sense to share. They also offer a strong drink menu with local beer and cocktails.
