Greenawalt Roofing Company

"Working with Greenawalt was extremely frustrating. Their crew was incredibly negligent, I received angry texts from my neighbors that their roofers were leaving tools, sharp metal, and walking all over their next door roof (our rowhouses are connected). They also left tons of debris everywhere, they "cleaned up" by leaf blowing rusty fasteners off the roof into our yard, I spent hours cleaning debris out of our garden, including multiple RAZOR BLADES where my toddler or dog could have stepped on them. Pictured is just the screws they left on the roof after they finished. They also did a sloppy install and had to come back twice to fix it, which took them 3 months to finish. They were not communicative and I had to contact them multiple times to get someone to resolve the inadequate work. They also removed our gutters one hour before a huge rainstorm at 5pm, and left it that way. Our basement flooded that night without the gutters. Just poor planning and project management throughout working with them. Although they eventually did patch the roof and resolve the issues, getting there was a painful process and they cut corners every step of the way. I'm an architect and I would not recommend this company."
